FAQ

Do self-employed people need to charge tax on invoices?

Only if you are registered for VAT, GST or sales tax where you work. If you are not registered, do not add tax; leave Tax % at 0.

What invoice number should I start with?

Any number works as long as the series is unique and sequential, e.g. INV-001 or 2026-001. Never reuse a number.

Can I invoice without a registered business?

In most countries a sole trader can invoice under their own name. Check local rules for registration thresholds.

Is my data stored?

No. Everything stays in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
